I went out last week on a school night……..to Brooklyn. I had to get my mind right to go. But it was in the name of fashion and to see beautiful black people. The popular NYC brunch series Everyday People (#EverydayPPLNYC) had an after work dance party at the Brooklyn Museum. Which worked out great because I was able to kill two birds with one stone and get my dance on (sort of….NYC people don’t dance like we do in Detroit. They just stand around and look at each other…sigh). I was also able to see the “Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe” exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. It was great! “Killer Heels” includes more than 160 pairs of contemporary and historic pieces. Many of the shoes were mind blowing and left you wondering how could anyone walk in them.
