Gap, J. Crew, Target, Tucker for Target

I really don’t have much to say in this post.  I’m trying to hurry up and get it out before I go to work.  I used Ecostyler Gel on my hair to do my wash-n-go for the first time a couple days ago.  This was the result (2nd day hair).  I didn’t love it nor did I hate it.  I don’t usually rule out products on the first fail, so I’m going to give it another try.  Besides, the price is excellent.  I could buy 5 big tubs for the price of one tub of Kinky Curly Custard.

Yesterday was unusually cool compared to the extremely hot days we have been having in NYC.  Therefore I layered up in some bright bold colors to give me a sense of warmth.  I also walked home 56 blocks from work which included a stop into a Weight Watchers meeting.  I’m back on the wagon.  I really didn’t have any intentions on rejoining the program but my scale has been acting screwy. Every time I get on it, the doggone thing reads a different number. (I’m not telling you the numbers either, we have to have some sort of anonymity on this blog Smile) Since I was paying for my monthly membership (but not going), I decided to swing into a center and get a proper weight reading. But I ended up staying for the entire Weight Watchers meeting. I’m so glad I did. The leader was funny and kept it real. I must say that I have lost weight since I started my clean eating journey.  When I weighed in at the meeting, I had lost weight since the last time I was there.  And that was in March.  So the scale has moved in the right direction.  Yay, me!! I’m not a creature of habit, so we will see where this journey takes me (hopefully to the bikini aisle where I will finally feel comfortable wearing one).
